Butch Waugh, Executive Vice President, SONY BMG announces the appointment of Keith Gale to Vice President,
National Promotion, RCA Nashville. Headquartered in Nashville, he will report directly to Waugh.
On the promotion, Waugh said, 'Keith has been with RCA's promotion team for 12 years. His strategic mind, forward thinking, love of the artist roster, passion for the music, and dedication to his staff, and this company are only a few reasons that give me pleasure in elevating him to Vice President of Promotion.'
As Vice President, Gale will be responsible for the development, implementation and supervision of the strategic and tactical radio promotional plans for all of RCA Nashville's projects. The RCA Nashville roster includes Alabama, Jeff Bates, Catherine Britt, Sara Evans, Jypsi, Martina McBride, Jake Owen, John Pierce, The Wrights and Chris Young.
Gale started with RCA Nashville in 1994 as Northeast Regional Manager. In September of 1997 he was promoted to Director, National Promotion and was elevated to Senior Director in September 2000. Prior to RCA Nashville, he was Promotion and Marketing Director for WXTU in Philadelphia, PA.
Gale earned his B.A. in Communication, with a specialty in Radio, TV & Film at Glassboro State College in Glassboro, NJ. Gale is a native of Ridgefield Park, NJ. He resides in Nashville, TN.
