BOSTON, MA. (www.beckymusic.net) - becky, originally formed by Rebecca Lord and Rob Mailhouse, have released their much anticipated full length debut album!

'Take It On The Chin' is a melodic and explosive crowd pleaser with catchy choruses and heartfelt lyrics. Rebecca's vocals have been compared to Mazzy Star but the music accompanying gives the band a much harder edge.

Joined by former Boston punk rocker Billy Close, they have successfully blended different musical influences, giving the band a very unique sound. The recent addition of the extremely melodic David Dyas on guitar diversifies the sound even more.

'Take It On The Chin's' 14 tracks include former band mates Keanu Reeves (bass) and Paulie Kosta aka Durnan Sawchuk (guitar) featured on I Adore You, Higher Ground and Oblivious. Goldfinger's Kelly Lemieux (bass) is featured on the hidden track – 'Days of Silence'.

With the release of their debut album, becky has evolved into an undeniable power pop force with an ever growing fan base and internet following.

Rebecca Lord – Vocals
David Dyas – Guitar
Billy Close – Bass
Rob Mailhouse - Drums
