Kee scheduled to receive the 2006 Theologian of the Year Award at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts on June10, 2006 in Sarofim Hall. John P. Kee was notified in early January that he had be chosen to receive the award. Pastor John P. Kee's unwillingness to stop helping others earned him the 2006 Theologian of the Year Award.

Ghost filled Pastor cares more about others and hopes that this award will focus on the needs of the people and not the Theologian. The New Life Fellowship family is gearing up to head to
Houston and support this bold man of God.
Hosting this year's show is Stellar winner, Micah Stampley, comedian Jonathan Slocumb and Lexi of the Word Network. Faith Broadcasting will cover the show live in addition to being covered by Lexi of the Word Network.
Last year's award recipient was Dr. I.V.Hillard of New Light Christian Center. Dr Hilliard has no doubt proven to be the 2005 Theologian of the year. This strong preacher of faith, stepped out in the year of 2005 and purchased the former home of the largest church in the world, Lakewood Church. Dr. Hilliard will be found working for God in Houston, Texas.
The Theologian Awards will take place in Houston, Texas on June 10, 2006 at the Hobby Center for Performing Arts, which is one of the finest venues in Houston. The Theologian Awards will feature performances by some of Gospel's most recognized names. This year's line up includes Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Stephen Hurd, Micah Stampley, Daryl Coley, JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise, Lyric, Anthony Evans, Eric D. Carrington, Regina Murphy and a special closing act by the 2006 Theologian of the Year, Pastor John P. Kee & the New Life Fellowship choir and many more.
Other events scheduled to take place include the 2006 VIP Reception scheduled to take place on June 9, 2006 in the beautiful Grand Lobby of the Hobby Center which faces the beautiful Downtown Houston skyline. Comedian Marcus Wiley will host this year's VIP Reception. Dr. Cory Easterling of Brooklyn New, York will be the Keynote speaker.
