BURBANK, CA. (Warner Bros. Records Publicity) - The world's most and least complex band, THE FLAMING LIPS have solidified the first part of their North American tour in support of their new Warner Bros. Records release, "AT WAR WITH THE MYSTICS." The most exciting Lips news in recent weeks is that their July 23 date at the prestigious Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, California is sold out. All 17,500 seats have been snapped up making this the fastest-selling show at the Bowl this season. The Lips have also confirmed an appearance on ABC TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" the day after the Bowl show. Check local listings for details.

Still reeling from their recently completed sold-out tour of the U.K. where "Mystics" was certified Gold upon release, The Lips are pleased to announce their American summer tour which will feature support from some of their favorite bands: The mighty Sonic Youth, Ween, The Magic Numbers, The Go!
