Nashville, TN. (DANKER & DANKER PUBLIC RELATIONS) - The Readings (pronounced Reddings) won the hearts of hundreds of music lovers at Bowling Green, Kentucky's annual 'Concert in the Park' series, where the fraternal twin brothers shared their singing and songwriting talents with over 600 old and new fans.

The Readings created their own mini-tour as the indie artists and their loyal fans from far and wide made the trip to Kentucky for this latest performance. The Bowling Green audience quickly joined the growing ranks of The Readings' fans, buying CDs at an astonishing rate.

Prior to the 'Concert in the Park,' the duo dropped into the ABC television affiliate WBKO in Bowling Green for an on-air performance, as well as an interview with anchor Whitney Ray.

The interview touched upon many topics, ranging from The Readings' background in San Diego to the nine years spent in Nashville, as well as their ten-year music plan.

Chris Reading referred to their 'blood harmony' when describing how well the twins' vocal sounds meld together. He also spoke of the Southern California vibe that inspires their songwriting.

Eric Reading discussed the duo's status as independent artists and its benefits, including the ability to experiment freely with their music and work on projects that are important to them.

Both Chris and Eric are justifiably pleased with their two music videos airing on CMT.com, as well as their amazing impromptu performance for stranded Southwest Airlines passengers at Chicago's Midway airport. Out of the hundreds of new fans garnered from that airport concert, many came to the Bowling Green performance.

Lucky fans can catch The Readings concerts in August at the Williamson County Fair in Franklin, Tennessee and at the Concert for The Cure at Nashville's City Hall. The Readings have also been asked to open for Kenny Loggins with the Utah Symphony. Details of these events, along with other tour dates, are at https://www.thereadings.net.

The Readings latest CD 'Everyday Life' is available through Nashville's leading independent music distributor, echomusic.com and at https://www.towerrecords.com, iTunes and thereadings.net. Their most recent music video 'She Brings Me Down' is available at thereadings.net or from Danker & Danker PR.
