NEWFOUNDLAND, Canada (www.dearlybeloved.ca) - Dearly Beloved has ten dates in Newfoundland, yes you read that correctly, ten dates in Newfoundland on their eastern Canadian tour. The Rugged Casual tour kicks off in Toronto on July 28th and takes the band all over Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Ontario.
The band that was formed by Rob Higgins (ex. Change of Heart & Doctor) has been creating quite a buzz with their live shows and now with the release of their debut album You Are The Jaguar (Kindling/Warner Music). With influences from 70's UK punk to early 80's pop to Detroit rock and roll, Dearly Beloved also features vocalist Niva Chow, drummer Alex Oreilly (ex. Doctor) and two guitarists Damon Richardson (ex. Change of Heart & Danko Jones) and John Pogue. www.dearlybeloved.ca
