NEW YORK, NY (Columbia Records) - The emerging young singer-songwriter Joshua Radin will embark on a series of concert dates as support act for his Columbia Records labelmate, Anna Nalick, beginning August 12 in Portland, Oregon (see tour itinerary following).

Radin will perform songs from his recently-released critically-acclaimed debut album, We Were Here including "Closer," the album's first single. A video for the song has been lensed by actor/director Zach Braff ("Scrubs," "Garden State").

Several of Joshua Radin's songs - including "Winter" and "These Photographs" - have been heard on the NBC television sitcom "Scrubs," the FOX television drama "North Shore," and the ABC medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," which aired "Closer" in February and will be featuring "These Photographs" in an upcoming episode. Radin's song, "Star Mile," may be heard in the film and soundtrack for "Last Kiss," starring Zach Braff and Rachel Bilson, slated to open in September. "What If You," another track from We Were Here, will be featured in the upcoming "Catch & Release" starring Jennifer Garner.

An old-school tunesmith and lyrical craftsman who forgoes technical gimmickry in favor of deeply felt poetics, emotional resonance, finely spun melodies and unforgettable performances, Joshua Radin released his first indie EP (now out-of-print and highly collectible), First Between 3rd and 4th, in July 2004.

Radin's live performances have made him a favorite emerging artist among discerning music fans in his native Los Angeles. His legendary Monday night residency at the Los Angeles Hotel Cafe led to a tour of than 15 cities across America in the autumn of 2005 with Rachel Yamagata, Tom McRae, Butch Walker and Cary Brothers. Last year, he sold-out two concerts at New York's fabled Joe's Pub. He performed an acoustic version of "Winter" on "Last Call with Carson Daly" in March 2006.

Joshua Radin performed in the studio and talked music with host Chris Douridas on KCRW's highly influential Los Angeles radio program "New Ground" on March 4, 2006.
