Charlotte, NC (WHOLETEAM ENTERPRISES, LLC) - The number one destination for music industry education and networking in the Mid-Atlantic States for 5 years and counting.

The 5th Annual Mid-Atlantic Music Conference will be held November 3 – 5, 2006 in beautiful downtown Charlotte, NC, the largest trading center in the southeast and the second largest financial center in the United States!

The Mid-Atlantic Music Conference is the premier music industry networking and education event in the Mid-Atlantic state's for 5 years running. The conference was established with one goal in mind, to focus the national and international music industry and related press on the Mid-Atlantic music market while providing a platform for the areas musicians and artists to gain exposure, be heard, and be educated in the business of music.

Over the past 4 years the conference has consistently brought together more industry executives, artists, musicians, student's and other related industry insiders than all other events of its type combined. While other national music conferences are focusing on becoming festivals, the Mid-Atlantic Music Conference continues to focus on providing the best networking, education and performance opportunities for artists and bands in the market. This approach provides the best opportunity for sponsors to directly market their products and services to the heartbeat of the music industry, artists!

The networking and educational portion of the conference has brought together key figures in the music industry and have included entertainment attorneys, publishers, songwriters, major and independent label executives, distributors, marketing specialist's, major music websites, booking agents, print media and radio representatives. All of whom have shared valuable advice to well attended interactive panels.

Past participants have included executives from major and independent record labels including Sony/BMG, J-Records, Universal, BME, Interscope, SoSo Def, and Arista as well as film and video game companies such as Southern Tip Films, The Charlotte Regional Film Commission, Film Music Network and GRS Games, makers of the SIMS.

Past sponsors of the event read like a who's who of the music industry and include RollingStone, MP3.com, Sonicbids, ASCAP, BMI, J Records, Infinity Broadcasting, WaterSounds Recording Studios, Rule Radio, CD Baby, Live365.com, Sean John, Universal Music Group, Rap-a-Lot Records, BME Records, The Zippo Hot Tour, BET and many more. Corporate sponsors have included heavyweights such as Anheuser Busch, Sam Ash Music, Sprint Vision Wireless, The Sheraton Hotel and The Film Music Group.

During the 2005 conference, over 100 artists & bands crossing all genres of music performed in 6 of Charlotte's hottest performance venues. To date, Mid-Atlantic Music Conference showcases have featured over 320 artists and bands from the US, Canada and around the world. This year, performance space will be even more valuable and limited!

Our 2005 'Road to the Mid-Atlantic Music Conference' live music performance series included more than 200 live performances in 15 cities as we searched for the best talent the market had to offer to showcase at the conference. In 2006, the series began in February with Atlantic Records Hip Hop Summit, held on the beautiful campus of North Carolina Central University located in Durham, North Carolina. The next stop on the road was Charlotte in March for the 1st Southeast Community Music Fest where R&B Grammy Nominated Artist, Anthony Hamilton, a Charlotte native received the Achievement of the Year Award.

The goal of this live performance series is to find the best artist and bands in the mid-atlantic market and showcase that talent to the music industry. Upcoming on the '2006 Road to the Mid-Atlantic Music Conference' are events in Atlanta, GA, with Virgin Records on August 27th, Greenville, SC, August 5th, Charlotte NC, August, 12th and 13th, Raleigh, NC August 20th and Memphis, TN on August 29th.
