(Lonestar Official Website) - Multi-platinum selling group Lonestar took to the mountains last week in Denver, Colorado to shoot the video for their newest single, Mountains, from their forthcoming, as of yet untitled album. The video, which is set to be released sometime later this month, was directed by Kristin Barlowe (LeAnne Rimes, Alan Jackson and Cowboy Troy). 'It was a really great experience for us to work with Kristin,' said Richie McDonald, who along with his band-mates braved the heights while performing in (and on) the Rocky Mountains. 'She was perfect for this song and definitely captured its message in a creative, professional and artistic way.' Mountains is currently No 28 on the Billboard Country Singles Chart and No 26 on the R&R Chart. This single, released in late June, marks the band's first single since last September and the first single from their forthcoming ninth studio album slated to be released this Fall. Lonestar has more No. 1 singles under their belt than any other country group this decade and has sold in excess of 10 million albums. Marking their 10th year of making music together, Lonestar has shown no signs of slowing down with a rigorous touring schedule across the U.S. For more information on Lonestar and to check out their updated tour dates go to www.lonestar.mu.
