LOS ANGELES (SKYLAR ENTERTAINMENT) - 'What are songs—what is poetry—if you're not there, even in violent despair?' Reily's debut album Listen to the Rain swirls into ghostly existence with these words on its lips and is permeated by the inquiry through its fourteen gorgeously haunted tracks. The band is about to embark on a Canadian tour that kicks off August 18th in Toronto and will take them to Vancouver and back.

The Reily sound is surprisingly mature given that all the band members are between 19 and 23 years old. This Brampton, Ontario band features Lisa Horvath (voice & keyboards), Megan Bonnell (voice & piano), Anthony James (drums & percussion), Nathan Stretch (Bass) and Nick Bernal (guitars & cello).

Listen to the Rain was independently, produced, tracked, and mixed by Reily in Horvath's and Bernal's professional studio Last Ounce Media Productions in Brampton. The result is a pleasing aura of musical community; three songwriters in close collaboration with one another pen Reily's tunes. Many of the songs touch on substantial topics, like death, illness, loss, forgiveness and reconciliation. They describe their music as indie folk rock, a sound that reflects their classical training, but has a contemporary feel.

As a bonus for the tour, Reily is offering a new unreleased EP We Were Archaeologists with every purchase of Listen To The Rain at the shows.

'The lyrics are thoughtful, with cohesive instrumentation and haunting vocals.' 'If you had to make a comparison, their music sounds like The Cranberries' early material.' – The Brampton Guardian
