Nashville, TN (Universal Records) – Katrina Elam has joined Rascal Flatts' sold-out 'Me And My Gang' tour. Katrina will open shows for country's hottest band in front of capacity crowds in eight states over two months. All shows are already sold out.

This is not Katrina's first high-profile tour. She toured with Keith Urban in 2004 and 2005, bringing crowds to their feet with a 6-song set featuring cuts from her debut CD. This year, Katrina will reprise those high-energy performances, adding brand-new material from her sophomore album scheduled for release later this year on Universal Records South.

Katrina is rapidly building a name for herself with her show-stopping live performances. The Washington Post praised Katrina's 'powerhouse voice,' and the Minneapolis Star-Tribune said, 'she wowed the crowd.' The Chicago Tribune raved, 'Opening act Katrina Elam proved she's easily among the most promising of Nashville's latest field of newcomers. The young, blond, powerhouse vocalist exhibited natural ease and even launched into a head-spinning star turn on the yodel.'

Katrina will join the Rascal Flatts' 'Me And My Gang' tour for the following dates:

August 5 Bonner Springs, KS Verizon Wireless Amphitheater
August 11 Indianapolis, IN Indiana State Fair
August 12 Cincinnati, OH Riverbend Music Center
August 13 Columbus, OH Crew Stadium
August 27 Louisville, KY Kentucky State Fair
September 1 Essex Junction, VT Champion Valley Exposition
September 9 Bristow, VA Nissan Pavilion
September 10 Mansfield, MA Tweeter Center
September 15 Charlotte, NC Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre
September 16 Raleigh, NC Alltell Pavilion

Katrina's new Universal Records South single, 'Love Is,' a song she wrote with Bonnie Baker, is at country radio now.
