NASHVILLE, TN. (Carrie Underwood Website) - Carrie Underwood will make a one-day trip to New York City in between tour dates this Friday for her debut appearance on Good Morning America to participate in their Summer Concert Series live from Bryant Park.

Also while in town, Underwood will pre-tape a performance for the CBS Early Show, which will air next Wednesday, Aug 16, and slip in time for a quick photo session before heading out of the Big Apple that evening to resume touring.

TV Guide magazine tapped Underwood for a Q&A feature in this week's issue tagged to her Good Morning America appearance
