Named one of Alternative Press' "Top 100 Bands to Watch" in 2005, HORSE the Band is rapidly gaining ground as key genre innovators in an already over-crowded 'core genre. Their brand of 'nintendo core' has gained loyal following gaining them support spots on great tours like the "Vans Warped Tour," "Sounds of the Underground," as well as other touring opportunities with Poison the Well and The Dillinger Escape Plan.
The band is about to embark on a tour with Roadrunner artists Dragonforce, a UK band who has single-handedly revitalized power metal, selling out dates all over the world.
About their debut album "The Mechanical Hand," Decibel Magazine raved, "The songs are excellent across the board... it's safe to say they sound like no one else in extreme music today," while Outburn Magazine agreed, "'The Mechanical Hand' is clever, crazy fun and inventive. It also rocks like hell!"
The band's previous 2 videos have each garnered video play on "Headbanger's Ball."
