LOS ANGELES (Geffen Records) - It was announced that Geffen Records artist Joanna will hit the road this fall opening up for Nick Lachey in support of her highly anticipated debut release, "This Crazy Life" in stores August 15th. The tour kicks off September 20th in Albany, New York and continues through the end of October with more dates to be announced. The album's first single "Let It Slide" is impacting radio now. - Joanna has already spent her summer gearing up for the release of "This Crazy Life" on a massive promo tour, taking part in Teen People's Rock & Shop Mall Tour, making stops along the way performing at summer camps and malls across the country. Joanna also opened up for Sheryl Crow on handful of dates on the east coast this past July.

You can catch Joanna on MTV for a special segment airing on Monday, August 14th in a follow up to the MTV "True Life – First Year" series which she was a part of. The episode gives an update on the rising star in an in-depth, behind the scenes look of Joanna on the road this past summer.

Online, "This Crazy Life" is powered by a Rhapsody "Premieres" album preview, live fan chats with Habbo Hotel and TeenHollywood/TeenMusic.com, and inclusion in MSN Music's "Ones To Watch" program starting August 15th through September 15th.

Joanna, who is no stranger to performing in front of massive audiences, first started entertaining folks as a blue-collar kid growing up in Philly. The young girl with the powerhouse pipes landed roles with a number of musical productions and beat out 20,000 kids for the lead role in a well publicized national search for the 20th Anniversary national tour of "Annie." After 106 performances nationally Joanna was bound to take the show back to the Great White Way. That, unfortunately, never came to fruition as Joanna came down with bronchitis and the show went on without her ensuing a media blitz of attention and support. This only made Joanna stronger, deciding to focus on her music, and she is doing just that, winning over both press and fans.

?The Philadelphia Inquirer declares, "[T]he moment you hear Joanna belt out the chorus to "Let It Slide" you know you're in the presence of a major pop talent, a singer with pipes to rival Mariah Carey's... "
