Los Angeles, CA. (Dangerbird Records) - LA ROCCA'S undeniable allure, on stage or off, has had hearts racing, feet stomping and mouths chatting. They've won over critics and crowds, tirelessly playing shows as if their lives depended on it -the only way they know how - and are thrilled to tour once again with friends, PHOENIX. The complementary bill can be considered an encore as the two bands shared a stage earlier this year. One observer from the Boston Herald raved, "La Rocca is spreading its Irish charm around the country. These guys are natural performers."

The Dublin to L.A. transplants have been working hard in support of their debut album, THE TRUTH, (Dangerbird Records), released August 8, 2006. Straight out of the box, La Rocca landed in CMJ's Top 200 and now reside at No 3 on the Specialty Radio chart. The boys have been touring in the States as well as overseas, recently enjoying plenty of attention from the land Down Under, with both MTV and Triple J Radio showing strong support.

The beautiful indie-pop sound on The Truth came to fruition with the help of acclaimed producer Tony Hoffer (Belle and Sebastian, Beck and Supergrass), who quickly saw the band's potential upon hearing unsolicited demos. These gifted storytellers may be cloaked as Americana slingers but listen further and you'll hear as much Replacements as Springsteen. With just a few listens, it's near impossible to not sing along to "Goodnight" or stomp your feet to "Sketches (20 Something Life)."
