NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Gospelmusic.org) - St. Louis Rams quarterback Kurt Warner, co-host of this year's Dove Awards show for Christian music, says he doesn't know if football fans will watch. "It would be great to have some people step over that line a little bit, and broaden their horizons," Warner told. "I'm hoping a few different people will watch and find out what it's all about." The Dove Awards will be presented Thursday night at the Grand Ole Opry House. Warner's co-host is singer Yolanda Adams. Warner said he's a fan of a wide variety of Christian singers, including the traditional gospel of Kirk Frankin, the modern rock of Steven Curtis Chapman and Nicole C. Mullen's rhythm and blues. "I'll be on the lookout for good ones during the show," he said. "I think it's a great chance to maybe fall in love with some more of this music." About 5,000 members of the Gospel Music Association nominate and vote for the Dove Awards.
