Nashville, TN (christmas4kids.org) - Charlie Daniels will offer his time and talents to host and headline the 10th Annual Christmas For Kids Benefit Concert. Charlie and friends Sawyer Brown, Phil Vassar,
Craig Morgan, Joe Nichols, and Daryle Singletary will perform at the charity event scheduled to take place at the Ryman Auditorium, Monday evening, November 20, beginning at 7:00PM (doors open at 6PM). VIP Golden Circle Tickets are $60 each and available by visiting www.christmas4kids.org or by calling 615-453-2434. Reserved seating will go on sale Oct. 20th at Ticketmaster for $30.
The Christmas For Kids Organization has been in existence for over twenty-five years providing special children the opportunity to celebrate the holiday season. Each year, the organization brings the spirit of Christmas to hundreds of children throughout Middle Tennessee allowing them to participate in festive activities organized specifically for them. As part of this year's Christmas for Kids activities, a Tour Bus Show has been scheduled for Monday, December 18. For a small donation per person, folks can visit the home-away-from-homes of more than fifty stars and celebrities. The show will be held at the Hendersonville Wal*Mart located at 204 North Anderson Lane from 5:00 - 9:00PM.
The following day, children from 30 different schools will enjoy a day-long excursion that will include a chauffeured trip from their school aboard a country music star's luxury tour bus to a local Wal-Mart where they will be accompanied by a volunteer to participate in their own Christmas shopping spree. On the return trip home, the children will participate in a Christmas carol sing-along.
All proceeds from the Tour Bus Show and the Charlie Daniels Band & Friends Benefit Concert (sponsored in part by 95.5 The Wolf)-November 20-will be donated toward the children's Christmas Shopping/Bus Excursion which is scheduled to take place December 19.
