NASHVILLE, TN (Tim McGraw Official Website) -- Thousands of fans welcomed their hometown hero Tim McGraw as he returned to northeast Louisiana to host his eleventh annual Celebrity Concert and Softball Challenge - 'Swampstock 2006'- on Oct. 7 with special guests Faith Hill, Martina McBride , Hot Apple Pie, The Warren Brothers, Lori McKenna, Redneck Rockstars and Catherine Raney. Fans came from as far away as Arizona , Florida and Michigan to attend the event. Raney kicked off the musical portion of the event which concluded with McGraw doing a full set and then being joined by Hill to do three songs together.

Monies raised in the past ten years helped to build the Tim McGraw Sports Complex in Rayville , Louisiana on which the ballgame was played. The concert took place later that same evening on an adjacent field. This year's net proceeds from the activities will benefit Tim and Faith's Neighbor's Keeper Foundation's local initiatives.

In keeping with previous years since 1996, when the couple was married shortly prior to 'Swampstock 1996,' Hill's softball team again won the game, besting McGraw's team 25-14. Highlights of the game included out of the park homeruns by both Brad and Brett Warren.
Fans that were not able to attend Swampstock may purchase this year's exclusive Swampstock t-shirt and see highlights online at www.timmcgraw.com.
