Houston Women's Festival as the vehicle for her

Patrice Pike was chosen out of 25,000 musicians from all over the world for this season's television series. Her original song 'Beautiful Thing' from the upcoming CD debuted on the show before 9 million viewers to rave reviews. CBS Rock Star Supernova writes 'In both music and life, Patrice Pike truly is the real deal.' when describing the Top 7 performer during this summer's highly rated TV show.
Patrice's recent success points to her song writing skills. Pike has stated that Supernova chose her for her strong writing ability. Her sense for lyrics, melody, progression and arrangement is winning international recognition, having competed with hundreds of thousands of entries from all over the world. Her songs have been awarded top prizes in many prestigious songwriting competitions.

Patrice Pike takes the stage to perform songs from her new cd at 8:30 PM at The 12th Annual Houston Women's Festival. The festival is a celebration of women, art, music and community. The event takes place Saturday, October 21, 2006 from 11:30 am until 10:00 PM at Jones Plaza located at 601 Louisiana in Houston's downtown theatre district. Other performers include Vanguard recording artist, Garrison Starr, The Ginn Sisters, and international touring artists Ginger Leigh and Erika Luckett.
