SANTA MONICA, CA (Savoy Label Group) - During an unprecedented week which saw the label debut records on the Billboard Top 200, New Age and Classical sales charts as well as Radio & Record's Smooth Jazz and A/C airplay charts, Steve Vining, President of the Savoy Label Group (SLG) is proud to announce the hiring of Joe Mozian as Director of Product Development & Marketing. Mozian will be based out of SLG's New York office. Including domestic and international marketing stints at both BMG and Koch, Mozian comes to SLG with a broad slate of experiences creating and marketing adult repertoire worldwide. In addition, SLG announces the promotions of several key staff members: Joshua Sherman is promoted to Vice President, Sales (formerly Sr. Director) based in New York; Sheila Volpe is promoted to Vice President, Marketing (formerly Sr. Director) based out of the label's headquarters in Santa Monica; Christine Ayres is promoted to Marketing Manager (formerly Coordinator) based in Santa Monica.

SLG has had a record-breaking 2006 so far with the signing of Jim Brickman to SLG Records which was No 1 Most added on R&R's Smooth Jazz and Adult Contemporary radio charts this week as well as Billboard sales charts - New Age at No 1 as well as charting Billboard's Top 200. Andre Rieu has consolidated his position as the No 1 Classical Artist of 2006 and will have two new projects for the fall, "Homecoming" and "Christmas Around the World" - both supported by extensive PBS programming.

The stellar lineup of artists include the best in contemporary jazz and world music with Ravi Coltrane, Milton Nascimento, Vijay Iyer and Andy Bey on Savoy; platinum-selling pianist Jim Brickman on SLG Records; Joan Armatrading and newcomer Steve Reynolds on 429 Records; Billboard's No 1 Classical Artist, Andre Rieu on Denon Classics and legendary New Age composer/harpist Andreas Vollenweider on Kin Kou Records.
