Nashville, TN (Jason Michael Carroll Official Website) -– Jason Michael Carroll may be a new name on the music scene, but the 28-year-old North Carolina native has already made an indelible impression with his first single, “Alyssa Lies,” which becomes the most-added new song at country radio now for the third consecutive week.

Written by Carroll, “Alyssa Lies” paints a searing portrait of child abuse, told through the eyes of a child and her father witnessing the plight of an abused schoolmate.

Only three weeks after the songs official airplay impact date, “Alyssa Lies” is spinning on over 100 monitored country stations nationwide and already charting inside the country airplay Top 30 at industry trades R&R and Country Aircheck.

With airplay rapidly expanding across the country, including such markets as San Diego , Pittsburgh , Portland , and Philadelphia , the feedback both from listeners and radio has been remarkable.

WMIL Milwaukees Kerry Wolfe declared Carroll “an incredible singer and songwriter. His songs are loaded with true-to-life emotion,” while WYCD Detroit Program Director Tim Roberts hailed, “Big voice, great songs, heartfelt delivery … hes going to be a force.” Clear Channel VP of Country Programming Clay Hunnicutt went on to cheer, “This guy is real! A real person and a real singer with real hits!”

“Alyssa Lies” is from Carrolls Don Gehman-produced Arista Nashville debut disc, set to release in early 2007.
