NEW YORK (ALMA Awards) - Marc Anthony walked away with three awards at the 2002 American Latino Media Arts (ALMA) Awards, which took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Saturday (May 18). Anthony won outstanding male performer, Spanish language album of the year for Libre, and the outstanding performance in a music, variety, or comedy special for his appearance in NBC's Christmas At Rockefeller Center special. Anthony also performed "I've Got You" at the ALMA ceremony.

Meanwhile, Shakira picked up two ALMA Awards: outstanding female performer and album of the year for her double-platinum set, Laundry Service. Ozomatli also snagged two honors, winning outstanding Latin group and breakthrough artist/group of the year. Jennifer Lopez's "Love Don't Cost a Thing" music video won the people's choice award for outstanding music video.
