Chili Peppers have issued the third single from their mighty STADIUM ARCADIUM collection, "Snow (Hey Oh)."
"One of the album's catchiest tracks," touted Billboard, "'Snow' is a bittersweet pop tune driven by a seductively serpentine melody, which curls and coils like a snake under the influence. Here Anthony Kiedis gives one of his best vocal performances to date, offering a relaxed, Zen-like look inside his lifelong struggle with addiction while delivering delicate pop hooks."
"Snow" was sent to radio last week, supported by a live video filmed at concerts at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, NJ on Oct. 17 and 18. The video, featuring the band's extended community, also offers footage illustrating why the Orange County Register called their show "...an arena spectacle." And the San Francisco Chronicle wrote: "The veteran Los Angeles funk-punk fusionists simmered so hot they nearly scorched the eyebrows off fans in the front of the stage."

STADIUM ARCADIUM gave the band their first No 1 album debut on The Billboard 200 chart. It also debuted at No 1 in 28 other countries worldwide. STADIUM ARCADIUM is the band's ninth album and the first since 2002's BY THE WAY, which debuted at No 2 on The Billboard 200.
Chili Peppers have already tallied up more than 50 million in album sales. The new platinum CD is the latest addition to a discography that already included seven multi-platinum CDs.
"Tell Me Baby" was the Chili Peppers tenth No 1 Modern Rock hit, preceded by the No 1 debuting "Dani California."
RHCP continue to tour, leaving this week for another blitz across Europe. They'll return to North American arenas starting January 12 at the Cox Arena in Oklahoma City, OK. Chili Peppers took home Best Album at this year's MTV European Music Awards (EMA) and Killer Video for "Dani California" at the Fuse Fangoria Chainsaw Awards in October.
The band is tied for most nominations for the 2006 American Music Awards, airing November 21 on ABC. They are up for Pop/Rock nominations for Favorite band, Duo or Group and Favorite Album for STADIUM ARCADIUM, along with a nod for Favorite Artist in the Alternative Music category.
The Chili Peppers are also nominated for Favorite Rock Song ("Dani California") and Favorite Group for the 33rd Annual People's Choice Awards airing January 9, 2007 on CBS.
