LOS ANGELES (Lovedrug Official Website) - A masterful display of intricate arrangements, deep introspection, and otherworldy vocals, Lovedrug's sophomore album, EVERYTHING STARTS WHERE IT ENDS [The Militia Group], is set to be released March 6, 2007. The band's new collection continues the band's singular vision first revealed on their acclaimed 2004 debut, PRETEND YOU'RE ALIVE, and details "the guiles that befall one on a journey through the mazes of life, death and love."

Conceived at The Loft in Saline, Michigan, with long-time cohort and PRETEND producer Tim Patalan (Sponge, The Fags), this album was meticulously honed over six months starting in early 2006. Spanning the musical spectrum from ethereal rock to stadium-prog EVERYTHING showcases a band immersed in their craft and truly coming into their own.

"This album is far more focused," explains frontman Michael Shepard. "PRETEND was more of an attempt to display feelings through stories, where EVERYTHING is more about discovering the feelings that occur because of these situations. It's a life-journey concept record basically. Life, death, sex, shit, loss, love and everything in between."

Mirroring life, EVERYTHING is an unpredictable experience, a breadth of emotion that traverses a musical landscape. Tracks like "Salt of the Earth," explore new territory with the use of haunting chains, reverb-laced guitars and Shepard's quivering voice, while "Happy Apple Poison," kicks off the record with a dark, quiet melody before giving way to a booming chorus.

Upon its release, PRETEND became The Militia Group's fastest selling release, charting at No 4 and No 43 on BILLBOARD'S Internet and Independent charts respectively in late 2004.

The Ohio-based foursome is taking a much-needed break, following their seamlessly never-ending tour schedule that has kept them on the road for a majority of the year. They will be overseas in February to tour Japan and Australia before taking to the U.S. roads with the Plain White T's in March. Prepare to be taken on the band's aural journey.
