LONDON, UK (Rockwood Music Hall) - Every Thursday for the month of January Brit/Anglo artist Fionn O Lochlainn will take up residence at the Rockwood Music Hall. Each show will feature a changing roster of guest musicians as O Lochlainn performs tracks from his new album Spawn of the Beast, which will be released in early '07 via Sincere Recordings.

2006 marked O Lochlainn's debut as a solo artist after years touring and recording with artists such as Sinead O'Conner, Eddi Reader, Donal Lunny, Seal, Joe Cocker and Tommy Peoples. With an eclectic musical background Fionn draws on current originality that brings the listener in to a world of acoustic rock'n'roll. O Lochlainn converges ethereal textures with melodic dream-like vocals evocative of Beck, Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley. He captures the insurgence of 'Brit Rock' but with haunting and enigmatic songs, prone to introspection and heavy blues, flaunting a formidable talent that has received critical acclaim from both sides of the Atlantic.

Fionn will tour with Billy Bragg as his supporting act in the UK this spring.
