BURLINGTON, Vt. (Burton Snowboards) - The 2006/07 Burton Demo Tour features 200 stops in the U.S. where riders can test ride the latest Burton gear for FREE at their favorite local resort. The Tour also includes the premier 10-stop Super Stops - 10 weekend-long events with a dedicated sponsor village, after-parties and jam sessions for local riders.
Every stop on the Demo Tour will give riders of all ages the opportunity to try the latest Burton gear at no cost. The hottest Burton boards, boots and bindings for men, women, girls and boys will be available to demo. Riders under the age of 18 will be required to have a parent sign a waiver on their behalf.
The Super Stops, scheduled throughout the season at 10 select resorts across the U.S., are sponsored by Motorola, Volvo cars, Snickers, Paul Mitchell, Nintendo and GORE-TEX products. A dedicated Super Stop sponsor village will have a huge array of new products for riders to try out and win free gear, including: Motorola's new KRZR phone and Burton Motorola Audex music products; visit with Swedish models Lisa and Marie as they present the Volvo XC90 SUV and the all-new C30 coupe; Nintendo's Wii and Nintendo DS gaming systems; Paul Mitchell haircare products to add even more style to the tour; GORE-TEX fabric featuring Burton's line of GORE-TEX outerwear; R.E.D. helmets and Anon goggles and sunglasses.
Each Super Stop will also include an after-party and a jam session where local riders will throw down to win great prizes.
