Atlanta, GA (Warner Bros / Wea) - A versatile performer from suburban Atlanta, Travis Tritt has secured major industry awards and sold millions of records, thus solidifying his stature within the Peach State's pantheon of noteworthy contributors to country music. Now he will lend his talents to the Great State of Georgia for the inauguration of Lt. Governor Casey Cagle on January 7th. The show will be held at The Georgia World Congress Center in the Thomas B. Murphy ballroom located at 265 Andrew Young Int'l Atlanta GA 30313.

In 1999, Travis Tritt was inducted into The Georgia Music Hall of Fame located in Macon, Georgia. The 43,000 square foot museum features an extravaganza of music memorabilia of fellow inductees Brenda Lee, Otis Redding, James Brown, Little Richard, Peebo Bryson, Gladys Knight, Alan Jackson and more than 450 Georgia artists, videos, interactive exhibits and hospitality with a Georgia accent.

Tritt is currently in the studio working on his debut album for Category 5 Records. The album co-produced by Tritt and American Idol's Randy Jackson will be released in late Summer 2007.
