After premiering their brand new single, 'This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race,' in a live performance at the 34th annual American Music Awards, multi-platinum, two-time MTV VMA award-winning Island Records group Fall Out Boy announces its first ever Australian tour!

Their new album INFINITY ON HIGH is released February 3 and follows From Under The Cork Tree, Fall Out Boy's Island debut, which has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide since its release in May 2005.

The first single 'This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race' is set to bombard the airplay charts with radio around Australia jumping on the track immediately. The video will be filtrating TV sets nationally next week and in true Fall Out Boy style they are trashing hotel rooms, partying at the playboy mansion and getting caught up in many celebrity scandals… and then reality hits home - they're just a punk band from Chicago!

Fall Out Boy won the coveted MTV2 Award in 2005 (for their first Island single, 'Sugar, We're Going Down'), Chicago's Fall Out Boy – Patrick Stump (vocals/guitar), Pete Wentz (bass), Joe Trohman (guitar), and Andy Hurley (drums) – picked up their second consecutive moonman this past September, when the video for their second Island single ('Dance, Dance') won 2006's MTV VMA Viewers Choice Award. They also received last year's Grammy nomination in the highly competitive Best New Artist category

Formed from Chicago's punk scene in 2000, Fall Out Boy built their loyal fanbase online and on tour across the US and abroad. They have appeared on the covers of Spin, Blender, and Alternative Press and have performed on NBC's Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien, CBS's The Late Show with David Letterman, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live, and more
