Our story takes place the original site of the Woodstock Festival in upstate New York, where the spirit of rock and roll still lives on as an echo in the woods, despite the ban on live rock and roll in the county. Aquarius, a former poetry student , now a waiter at the Why Are We Here Café sets out to find the meaning behind life's mystery. Aquarius meets Miriam in the forest and love finds a way to bring them their freedom and an understanding of their destiny. Songs like "Where The Horses Run Free," "When Silence Speaks," and "If I Can Live Through This I Can Live Through Anything," are pivotal in this story of freedom, love, and rock 'n' roll. This rock opera was created, produced and recorded by David Young, a Grammy nominated, Renaissance artist who shows great talent as a songwriter, singer, guitarist and double flute player. He has sold over a million albums through his independent label, Universe Music. Performing on the Rock Opera with David Young are Noah Levy/drums (Five For Fighting), Ricky Peterson/keyboards (John Mayer), and Phil Shenale/keyboards (Tori Amos, Tracy Chapman) among others. David Young is performing at New York City's famed Bitter End, January 30th @ 7:30pm.
