LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ www.thegorgeoushussies.com) - The Gorgeous Hussies, Salt Lake City based groove-rock trio, will make the exciting leap from being label a mere 'local band' to the moniker of 'touring band' as they break state lines and head into Idaho for the band's first out of state performance this Saturday, January 20th. 'It's always an exciting moment when you play your first show outside your home state,' said drummer Ryan Smith of The Gorgeous Hussies. 'We love every performance opportunity we get at home, but there is something very thrilling about heading into uncharted territory for the first time with a new group.' The groove-rock trio, who has been liked to Umphrey's McGee and Presidents of the USA, will continue to promote their new CD Oh! Hello as they rock the First National Bar in Pocatello, Idaho with fellow NARRL Records labelmates Monsoon Season. This christening performance marks the first of many out of state performances the band has planned this spring. The trio is currently booking tours as far north as Washington state and as far south as Las Vegas later this summer. 'We're just excited that our live show has being received as well as it has been,' continued Smith. 'We hope this first outing will be as well received out of state as it has been with our home town fans.' The Gorgeous Hussies began performing in November of 2006 across Utah's Wasatch Front and are excited to take their show on the road.
