New York Dolls Take Soundstage

New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Roadrunner Records) - The legendary New York Dolls were recently asked to perform an exclusive show for PBS' acclaimed Soundstage show, and the thrilling results will be premiered TOMORROW, February 1st, 2007 (check local listings).

Widely hailed as the sonic god-fathers of punk rock and fashion plates for most every American glam rock bands that followed (yes, we're looking at you, Aerosmith), the Dolls rocked Soundstage with a mix of established classics like "Personality Crisis" and "Jet Boy," from their '70s origins, revved-up new tunes like "Take a Good Look at My Good Looks" and "Gimme Luv & Turn on the Light," from last year's One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This album, and even a cover of Bo Diddley's "Pills."
