The multiplatinum rock band is performing a 90-minute concert in New York , which will be digitally broadcast live at more than 40 movie houses in over 30 cities nationwide. "The chance to do something different has always been at the heart of our band," Korn said in a statement. The group, whose hits include "Got the Life" and "Freak on a Leash," is doing the show to promote their fifth studio album, "Untouchables," which comes out Tuesday. Seats for the 10 p.m. EDT show, which are $10 each, will be sold at the theater box offices and online. Some tickets for the event in New York City will be available through the band's Web site, www.korn.com. "We see this as an opportunity to dynamically merge two of the most powerful forms of entertainment, music and movies," said Jeff Kwatinetz of The Firm management group. "This is a groundbreaking way to present Korn and other artists in a sonically and visually superior medium and to revolutionize the movie theater business."
