LOS ANGELES (Liufehouse Fans Website) - Modern rock outfit Lifehouse has wrapped work on the follow-up to its double platinum DreamWorks debut, "No Name Face." The 13-track set, titled "Stanley Climbfall" and due Sept. 17, reunites Lifehouse with producer Ron Aniello and mix engineer Brendan O'Brien, both of whom were behind the boards for "No Name Face."

"Our focus was to keep the sound of the record pure," Wade says in a statement. "[Drummer Rick [Woostenhulme], [bassist] Serge [Andrade], and I have a chemistry that's really working. We are a band. We have claimed our sound as our own and developed it through touring and in the studio, making it stronger."
"I'm really in a good place,"
Wade adds. "I'm writing more storyteller songs about how I view certain situations I've witnessed or been in or my friends have been in. Most of the stuff is really positive and not written out of conflict. I've let the songs happen more on their own, and accepted the song for what it is instead of making it into what I think I want it to be."

The unusual album title is derived both from an inside joke and the name of a new song. "Everyone has their ups and downs," Wade says. "So after a lot of wordplay, a song called 'Stand, Climb, Fall' was transformed into an everyday character named 'Stanley Climbfall', who goes through those kinds of changes."

Even with the new album on the way, Lifehouse's breakthrough single, "Hanging by a Moment," continues to hang on to Adult chart, where it is No. 16 in its 69th week. Last month, the track was named the most-played song on college radio at performing rights organization BMI's 50th annual Pop Awards.

Lifehouse has lined up a host of summer tour dates, most of which encompass performances at festivals, fairs, or amusement parks. The next show on the schedule is July 3 at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar, Calif., and dates are booked through a Sept. 7 appearance in Albuquerque, N.M.
