NEW YORK, NY (Top40-Charts/ MTV) - MTV today announced that it will debut the latest installment of its critically acclaimed music series "Unplugged" by featuring Rock icons KoRn. "MTV Unplugged: KoRn" will be a multi-screen global event that will live across all MTV platforms - including MTV.com, URGE and MTV Mobile - in the U.S. and across multiple continents including Europe, Asia and South America. Filmed on December 9, 2006 at the MTV Times Square Studios, "MTV Unplugged: KoRn" features a full acoustic set of the band's most beloved hits. Additionally, KoRn were joined on stage by two of their most respected peers, The Cure and Amy Lee of Evanescence, for two once in a lifetime collaborations.

"MTV Unplugged: KoRn" will debut on Friday, February 23 with an exclusive first look on Unplugged.MTV.com. Viewers will have access to the performance in its entirety, a full week before its on-air premiere. "MTV Unplugged: KoRn" will debut on MTV Friday, March 2 at 11:30pm ET/PT. In addition, KoRn fans can go to Unplugged.MTV.com and join MTV News correspondent John Norris as he gets the inside scoop directly from the band on each of the songs they perform on "Unplugged." Also, Unplugged.MTV.com will launch a best of "Unplugged" show that will feature performances from various past "Unplugged" shows.

On February 27, MTV.com and URGE will give KoRn fans an exclusive opportunity to listen to the entire "KoRn Unplugged" album a week before its March 6 release date. In addition, URGE (available at https://www.urge.com) will offer the exclusive digital download of the album for one week prior to its general availability.

MTV Mobile will feature the full performance of one song featured on the show a week before the on-air premiere, as well as, 1-2 performances for 30 days after show premiere, full music videos and bonus content exclusively shot for wireless.

On VOD, the half hour version of "MTV Unplugged: KoRn" will be available on MTV2 On Demand starting March 9.
