LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ www.cabrassoundtrack.com) - "Cabras" film director Fredy Polania has entered his latest music video into the running for inclusion on Steven Spielberg's upcoming reality show "On the Lot". "On the Lot," executive-produced by Mark Burnett and Steven Spielberg, will give aspiring filmmakers from around the world the chance to earn a $1-million development deal at DreamWorks. The show is premiering Spring 2007 on the Fox network.

Polania has chosen to keep the plot of "Cabras", a self-described "philosophical thriller" due out in 2008, under a tight lid, and has been mainly promoting the "Cabras" soundtrack. Polania is the first independent film director to shoot music videos for every artist on a film soundtrack - a total of 20 artists.

He approaches the soundtrack by choosing what are, in his view, the best independent artists from around the world. Hailing from the United States are New Crash Position, Lauren Briant, Bizarre from D-12, Antedote The Neato Project, A New Way Down, The Morning After, and Cede.

International artists include Canada's Inner Surge, Latvia's Detlef's Zoo, Switzerland's Manana, and Israel's Squid, with more on the way. Video downloads and mp3's for these artists are available at www.cabrassoundtrack.com.

It is the "Cabras" soundtrack that Fredy Polania is representing in his entry to Spielberg's "On the Lot". Israel's rock band Squid's video for their new single "Not Used To" is the current showcase. This alternative rock track showcases the band's sense of groove and melody, as well as their musical depth. Filmed at some powerful locations such as the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv, the video showcases an inspired band in some inspiring places.
