SAUSALITO, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Bay and Delta Yacht Charters) -Former founder and manager of the legendary band Journey renews his love for music with his newest adventure, Bay & Delta's Empress Events' 'Music on the Bay.' The Sunday concert series, launched by Bay & Delta Owner Captain Gerry Robertson, offers a forum for popular and up-and-coming Bay Area bands to showcase their talents. The famed Sausalito Empress luxury yacht will host the weekly events beginning March 4 and continuing through August 26.

The Music on the Bay cruise tours the entire San Francisco Bay Sundays 4-8pm and include appetizers, dinner, dancing and live-music. Tickets in advance cost $49 per person or $55 at the dock, limit 120 persons per cruise.

Captain Robertson has a long history in the rock and roll industry. In addition to his connection to Journey, he also founded Primo Productions in 1972, makers of the revolutionary sound system that transformed live performances. 'I feel very lucky to have been a part of rock and roll's inception. I saw many amazing, yet struggling bands trying to make it in the industry. I promised if I ever had the opportunity, I would support the underground band effort,' said Robertson.

In 1991, Robertson followed another passion of his – sailing – and founded Bay & Delta Yacht Charters. 'Sailing is my heart and soul. But, there's a part of me that misses my rock and roll days. Music on the Bay is a way for me to combine my two passions while offering up-and-coming bands a chance to be heard,' Robertson claims.

The Sunday concert series will feature Robertson's favorite, personal selection of Bay Area bands in the jazz, swing and rock and roll genres including: March 4 The Fabulous Bud-E-Luv Show

March 18 Freddy Clark
March 25 Heavy Petty
