NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Epic Records Publicity) - Epic Record's break through artist Augustana has announced sixteen headlining dates to add to their Spring tour. Opening bands Vega4 and David Ford will join Augustana on the stage.

After touring almost non-stop for over two years with the likes of Snow Patrol, Counting Crows, the Fray, Switchfoot, and the Goo Goo Dolls in support of All The Stars and Boulevards, Augustana has built an incredibly strong fan base. As a result, their anthemic first single 'Boston' has recently been certified digital GOLD and is the No 15 single on iTunes!

'Boston' is tearing up the Adult Top 40 and pop radio charts, making their radio audience over 12 million. The 'Boston' music video is also being seen by millions. It is being played in heavy rotation on MTV and increased to GUNG HO rotation on VH1! You Oughta Know promo spots. The band played MTV's TRL on February 12th.

The follow up smash single 'All the Stars and Boulevards' is showing great promise as it is off to an incredible start and is now being played at AAA radio.

It's been a magnificent and chaotic couple of years for Augustana. 'This has all happened really fast. But by sophomore year (of high school) I knew that this is really what I want to do in life. And I always thought in the back of my mind that something like this could actually happen,' says Dan Layus.
