People Productions announces a new summer music festival 'Reggae Rising'

NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ By Yvonne Hendrix/ People Productions) - People Productions and the Dimmick Ranch are pleased to announce a new summer music festival, Reggae Rising. The festival will benefit the Southern Humboldt community and carry on the 23 year tradition of being one of the largest fundraisers for its non-profits. Reggae Rising will take place on August 3rd, 4th and 5th at the Dimmick Ranch and French's Camp in Piercy, California and will feature three days of camping and world renowned reggae music, situated along the picturesque Eel River.

People Productions and its staff of coordinators have a two decades plus track record for hosting exceptional music festivals and will produce the event with the same expertise that has given them one of the best reputations in the industry.

This year's lineup promises to be unparalleled, and we're proud to announce the first confirmed acts for the 2007 Reggae Rising Music Festival: Sly and Robbie and the Taxi Gang with Horace Andy, Anthony B, Fantan Mojah, Freddie McGregor, Morgan Heritage, Richie Spice, Groundation, and the Heavyweight Dub Champion.
