Miami, FLA. (Top40 Charts/ WMC) - NextAid is back in Miami to build the movement for its 5th consecutive year during the Winter Music Conference, March 20-26, 2007. Check out our very own NextAid party called "Beats Build Hope" at the Marlin Bar on Wednesday March 21, our down-tempo networking session called "Conscious Party" at The Standard Hotel/ MIAMBIENT on Friday March 23, and a growing roster of exciting NextAid events and supporters. View our Miami 2007 Poster. Complete event and artist details available on our Miami 2007 Page.

It's difficult to believe that it's been five years since NextAid came to Miami with little more than an idea and the faith that the dance community could come together and make a difference to the millions of children orphaned by AIDS in Africa. Although the epidemic persists, 'So do we!' proclaims NextAid.

With an increased focus, demonstrable signs of progress and a renewed sense of urgency, NextAid, with the support of DJs and industry leaders, is currently building a sustainable center, literally a village of hope, in Dennilton, South Africa to support children and their communities affected by the AIDS pandemic. The project broke ground in the summer of 2005 with a team headed by Joseph Kennedy, a world-renowned eco-architect. To date, NextAid has completed seven buildings, trained local builders in eco-friendly construction techniques and helped get funding for small business development. Children and adult volunteers are already utilizing the community center site on a daily basis.

NextAid has garnered impressive support over the years (see list below). This year, The MobileMasterList (MML) is one like-minded partner NextAid is pleased to be working with. As music lovers and artists, the folks behind MML saw the need for a definitive, easily portable, environmentally friendly guide to WMC and a great opportunity to help promoters take it to the next level. MML is highlighting NextAid-related events and general awareness through its website and messaging. For more information please visit www.mobilemasterlist.com.

NextAid's achievements so far are quite remarkable, but literally it is just the beginning. To celebrate not just the past five but also the next five years of community involvement, NextAid invites you to all of these special events in Miami commemorating NextAid's response to the global crisis.
