NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shakir Entertainment) - An exclusive premiere party will be held at Splash Bar in New York City on the evening of April 5th, to celebrate the release of the new music video by Adam Barta for his billboard breakout single, I Wanna Hold You. Barta will be performing the single as well, after the premiere of the video on big screens around the club. VIP guests from MTV, America's Next Top Model, and Noah's Ark have all been invited. The single is currently No 24 on the DJ Times club dance chart, and has peaked at No 1 on such charts as Loud City, resonating with a well received tone in the dance music community.

The video is appearing on Promo Only's May club series and will be seen on national broadcast TV this Spring. The video features Hampton socialite and PR guru, Michelle McDonald. SBNY, also known as Splash, has been an award winning New York hotspot for over 10 years, and has hosted performances from artists such as Britney Spears, Taylor Dayne, Patti Labelle and Cindi Lauper with visits from artists like Janet Jackson. It is located at 50 West 17th Street. (@6th Avenue). The event is being organized by entertainment mogul Shaun Cairo of Shakir Entertainment.

Barta's latest single, I Wanna Hold You, received a breakout on the Billboard hot club play charts back in October and is on other dance charts around the country. It has been heard on XM's BPM, Sirius's The Beat, and was just added to Clear Channel radio's CCADS database for preview and download by radio stations across the country including New York's Z100 and WKTU. It also appeared on Promo Only's mainstream club series CD in November. No stranger to performing, Adam has shared stages with Lucas Prata, Reina, and Danielle Bollinger. He will be featured on a track called Standing in the Rain on Russ Harris' new album Ear Therapy on EsNtion Records.

Barta recently signed with Shakir Entertainment, a fruitful partnership, which has already generated a feature in Skope magazine, and the music video itself, being pitched to major networks.
