MONTREAL, Canada. (Top40 Charts/ Grand Entertainment & Music) - Grand Entertainment & Music, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GMSC) offers an update on the continued success of Joseph Greco's independent film "Canvas."

Qbanito's tribute to the late Celia Cruz, "Homenaje a Celia Cruz," was recently featured in "Canvas," and will be included in the upcoming movie soundtrack. The film premiered last October at the Hamptons International Film Festival, where it was a "Spotlight Film" selection. The movie went on to win awards for Best Film, Best Actor and Outstanding Actor (Joe Pantoliano), and the Director's Choice Award for Best Feature Film at other film festivals around the country. Later this month, the movie will be screened by New York Film Critics and will be featured at the 16th Annual Rondeau Lecture (National Alliance on Mental Illness). In the meantime, "Canvas" continues to receive rave reviews from The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and other major trade publications.

"The success of 'Canvas' can only mean good things for Qbanito," stated Raul Cuza, Qbanito's manager. "This movie is about to receive major U.S. and international attention, which means Qbanito's song will be heard by a lot of people around the world. No amount of money could buy that kind of publicity for an artist. We are very pleased and excited that we were afforded the opportunity to be a part of this amazing film, and we look forward to its continued success."
