We wanted to alert everyone to the Mandy Moore Extraordinary high school competition, an innovative online contest which provides an opportunity for creative high school students-and their schools- to win a performance by Mandy Moore at their graduation and a $1000.00 scholarship to the winning entry. 'Extraordinary,' the first single off Moore's highly-anticipated new album, Wild Hope, marks Moore's debut as a songwriter in addition to being a celebrated performer. In support of the album, which is coming out on 6.19, Moore is using Photobucket to connect with her fans and provide a rare opportunity for high school graduates to interact with her as they embark upon the rite of passage of graduation. 'Extraordinary' explores the theme of growth and personal evolution, a subject whose relevance to graduating seniors sets the tone for the competition itself.
From now until April 30, Photobucket users and Mandy Moore fans are invited to create video mash-ups from their own personal content (photographs, graphics, artwork, video) remixed with Mandy Moore images, video and music assets provided by the artist. The mash-ups are created with Photobucket's new web-based remix service and available free of charge to all Photobucket users. The best entry will win an opportunity to have Moore perform at their high school graduation and a $1000.00 scholarship to be awarded to the school with the winning entry. Completed remix videos will be submitted to the high school social networking site, MyYearbook.com, where users will vote for their favorites and Mandy Moore will personally select the overall winner.
HOW IT WORKS - WAYS TO WIN MANDY: 3 easy steps!

STEP 1: To make your Extraordinary Remix Video, please visit www.photobucket.com/mandymoore and create an account. Photobucket is a free service where over 38 million users search, upload, and share their personal media. Once you have registered at Photobucket, upload your own videos and photos to your Photobucket album.
STEP 2: High School students can then prove how they are 'Extraordinary' by creating their own Extraordinary Remix video. Images, mash-ups, music beds and other cool stuff will be provided on https://photobucket.com/mandymoore to facilitate everyone's inner creative genius. Submissions will be accepted from 4.02-4.30 and must be submitted to www.myyearbook.com/demandmandy. This contest serves as an opportunity to inspire students to creatively express what collectively make their lives undeniably unique. Video submissions from high schools will be accepted from April 1 until April 30. The winning high school will be announced in May.
STEP 3: Completed remix videos will be submitted to the high school social networking site, MyYearbook.com, where users will vote for their favorites and Mandy Moore will personally select the overall winner. The remix video can also be shared on blogs, school websites, profile pages, and friends! Everyone can also vote on the Battle Of The Videos! Starting MAY 1, all videos will compete on myyearbook.com and the TOP 10 finalists will be reviewed by Mandy, who will pick the grand prize winner. Mandy will perform at the winning school's high school graduation-making something that is already pretty special truly extraordinary.
