 NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Live Nation) - Following on the heels of their massively successful 2006 concert tour, Def Leppard, one of rock's most exciting bands, have announced a mega summer concert tour that is set to hit all corners of the United States, as well as Canada. This year's outing will include 50 dates, kicking off on June 27th in Cincinnati and culminating on September 30th in Edmonton. Styx and Foreigner are scheduled to appear on select dates with tickets for the Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Detroit and Boston dates going on sale Saturday, April 21st. The tour is being produced by Live Nation. 2006 was a watershed year for Def Leppard with the group's summer concert tour becoming a must-see phenomenon. It was extended three times due to overwhelming demand for tickets from concert-goers and quickly became one of the year's most successful live music events. 2006 also included a gold record for Rock Of Ages: The Definitive Collections, marking the group's 10th album certification, as well as two critically acclaim album releases; an exclusive limited edition version of the group's classic Hysteria album and Yeah!, a tribute to the band's musical heroes, that received raves from Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone and USA Today and featured the group's now definitive cover of Rock On.
