LOS ANGELES Top40 Charts/ (Serjical Strike/ Universal Republic Records) - Taking over the U.S. one city at a time with their strikingly dynamic live performances, Serjical Strike/Universal Republic recording artist FAIR TO MIDLAND will have crisscrossed the country several times this year alone by the time they hit the stage at the Coachella Valley
Music & Arts Festival on Sunday, April 29 as they gear up for the June 12 release date of their debut album, Fables From a Mayfly: What I Tell You Three Times Is True.
In support of the release, the Dallas-based band has announced the premiere of the animated video for "Dance of the Manatee" on April 23, on PureVolume (https://www.purevolume.com/), and has confirmed additional tour dates beginning in early May.
"Dance of the Manatee" is the first single from Fables From a Mayfly, which was produced by super-producer David Bottrill (Tool, Muse, Peter Gabriel) and executive produced by Serj Tankian (System Of A Down). "Manatee"-currently climbing the Active Rock and Alternative radio charts-showcases the band's progged-out virtuosity, lead-heavy riffs, dynamic tidal waves and singer Darroh Sudderth's soaring vocals. Early supporters include such Rock and Active Rock stations as KXXR (93X) Minneapolis, KUPD Phoenix, WRIF Detroit, WCCC Hartford, WIIL Chicago, KISW Seattle, KRXQ Sacramento, KIOZ San Diego, and KZBD Spokane. On the Alternative side, early support is coming from KDGE Dallas, KBTZ Houston, WHRL Albany, KNXX Baton Rogue and WPBZ West Palm.
FAIR TO MIDLAND-Darroh Sudderth (vocals), Cliff Campbell (guitar), Jon Dicken (bass), Brett Stowers (drums) and Matt Langley (keys/electronics) - have just completed a US tour with fellow Texans Flyleaf and recently wrapped up a hugely successful tour with Japanese art-metallers Dir en grey as well. The band will tour with As I Lay Dying for a handful of dates in early May and are also scheduled for appearances at Bamboozle in New Jersey May 6 and on the main stage of Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals in Germany June 2 and 3.
