LOS ANGELES (Darren Hayes Official Website) - Savage Garden's Darren Hayes has been taking things in his own hands by releasing music as well as remixes from his upcoming record, *This Delicate Thing We've Made, not only to the masses but also to his myspace page with nearly 300,000 daily views. The first released remix is from his song "Step Into The Light" and will include thumping vibes of DJ superstars Tony Moran, Moto Blanco, HooknSling, and Dave Pezza. The song already is making its way to the dance floors in Sydney, London, and New York.

Hayes as also leaked another track via his ever-growing, aggressive myspace crop of fans. These fans have yielded to be a huge asset to getting the word out of Darren's new music. The track "Who Would of Thought" has been released early to his loyal fanbase via his web page- www.darrenhayes.com – and his myspace page- www.myspace.com/darrenhayes . The track is accompanied by an exclusive animated video clip that was created by Hayes' life partner, video/creative director, Richard Cullen. Cullen uses paper origami which is the muse that symbolizes the inspiration behind the record to illustrate the message of love, purity and the freedom of rebirth. Fans have been downloading on message boards and blogs across the world.

Darren's myspacers have been salivating to get a glimpse of these new tracks. The fans that were lucky enough to catch Darren on his mini tour run of SOLD OUT shows in Australia, London, and NY are still buzzing about the new material. Darren will also be preparing to hit America again in May as he will be playing, NY, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. These shows will build up to the excitement and awareness of his upcoming album releasing in August. Hayes has been working with the famed set designer Willie Williams to create a visual experience that the audience will take away and clearly see the Victorian/time-machine era that is expressed through this record.

Hayes will also be using his platform by lending himself to be the Celebrity Spokesperson for The Trevor Project, a nationwide, around-the-clock suicide prevention helpline for gay and questioning youth. Every day, The Trevor Project saves lives through its free and confidential helpline, and educational services. Hayes will be on deck to join Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane, Tim Gunn, and Carson Kressley at the star studded Charity event on Monday, June 25th at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City to educate and bring awareness to NY's elite and help raise money for the cause. Hayes will go through the system's training to actually speak to troubled teens with talking about his own choices and struggles in coming to the decision of who he is sexually.
