San Diego, CA. (Top40 Charts/ By Jackie Cavanagh/ Dan Klores Communications) - Billboard, the world's most trusted source of music, video and digital entertainment news, charts, reviews and analysis, has teamed up with Veoh Networks, the leading pioneer in Internet television, to launch an exclusive Billboard channel on Veoh.com. The Billboard channel will feature news, interviews and performances from today's hottest artists from around the world.

"We are very pleased to partner with Veoh as a leading innovator in Internet television." said Scott McKenzie, Group Editorial Director at Billboard. "This partnership will bring select Billboard video programs to a larger audience, while providing our viewers with the latest in webcast and downloadable video options."

The Billboard channel on Veoh.com will feature Billboard's original-produced series, Billboard in Sixty and Billboard Underground - weekly updated webisodes of news, interviews and performances. The shows, originally launched on Billboard.com in October 2006, will be available to view with Veoh's innovative web applications, offering a downloadable, broadcast quality picture over the Web. Billboard in Sixty will launch with a total of 16 episodes and Billboard Underground will launch with 15 episodes - each will continue to update regularly as the series proceed.

The following is a brief description of each:

* Billboard in Sixty is a 60-second window into the world of music news. The show offers a brief encapsulation of the week's music news, special events and interviews with your favorite stars. Artists recently featured on the show include Jennifer Lopez, T.I., Sheryl Crow, Bon Jovi, Arctic Monkeys, Ne-Yo, DJ Drama, Fratellis and American Idol contestants.

* Billboard Underground is a show dedicated to interviews, performances and outtakes with the hottest unsigned emerging artists. A recent example includes Laura Warshauer, an up-and-coming starlet whose debut performance on Billboard Underground landed her a contract with Island Def Jam.

Danielle Flora hosts both Billboard in Sixty and Billboard Underground. A former pop star turned choreographer to the stars, Flora provides viewers with a unique and uncensored insight into the world of music.

All show clips will be archived on the Billboard channel at Veoh.com, but fans will want to get the Veoh Player and Home Delivery System to automatically download full-screen, DVD-quality versions of episodes as they become available.

"Music fans are already some of the most tech-savvy audiences online today and Billboard is one of the most respected music brands in the business. We are excited to offer their cutting-edge and entertaining programming to our viewers," said Dmitry Shapiro, CEO of Veoh Networks. "Combined with Veoh's peer-to-peer technology, the easy-to-use Veoh Player, and our Home Delivery System, this partnership is part of the next evolution in how the world will view video content both on- and offline."

The Veoh Player is a free, quick-to-download desktop application that can turn any fan's hard drive into a virtual DVR. This application allows users to download and save episodes of their favorite Billboard shows to watch at a later date, with or without an Internet connection. Its unique technology also allows users to subscribe to the series and have new episodes sent directly to their Player as soon as they are posted.

For those on the go, the Veoh Home Delivery System is a new feature that goes one step further by allowing users to browse and select content from any computer with an Internet connection. While at work or when traveling, users can send the content directly to their home computer with a Veoh Player. This allows users to enjoy their favorite videos in a full-screen, DVD-quality format as soon as they arrive home without any additional downloading time. To access Home Delivery, users need to simply log on to their Veoh account from any computer and enable the Home Delivery feature.
The Billboard channel on Veoh.com officially launched on April 25, 2007.
