LONDON, UK (Daily Telegraph) - Richard Ashcroft has revealed the title of his upcoming second solo album: Human Conditions, tentatively set for release in October.

The former singer of the Verve follows up his 2000 solo bow, Alone With Everybody, once again working with producer Chris Potter, who co-helmed the first solo album and the Verve's Urban Hymns. The sessions took place at Barge Studios on the River Thames in London.

The forthcoming album includes guests spots from Brian Wilson, Talvin Singh, and DJ Shadow. Ashcroft premiered one of the album's new songs, "Buy It In Bottles" back in February, during a Teenage Cancer Benefit concert at London's Royal Albert Hall. He's so pleased with the new work that he's already thinking about his third solo album, with a release date of late next year in mind.

Ashcroft most recently made a guest appearance on "The Test," a track on the Chemical Brothers' album, Come With Us. He'll perform September 14-15 as a special guest of Oasis, when the band plays its hometown of Manchester, England, at the Lancashire County Cricket Club.
