NEW YORK (WNBA Official Website) - Brian McKnight will sing the national anthem at the WNBA All-Star Game, which takes place Monday (July 15) at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C. At halftime, rising-star singer Ashanti will perform her new single, "Happy." The WNBA All-Star Game will be televised on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. ET. McKnight is a huge basketball fan who often plays with professional basketball players. He told about the time he had to guard Magic Johnson during a game. "Here I am at 6'4", and this guy's 6'9" bringing the ball up, so at that time it was, you know, make or break. So he goes right, and I figure I can go in there and go behind him, and I steal the ball from him at half court. So now I'm, like, heart beating, and I'm, like, 'Oh my God, I just stole the ball from Magic Johnson.' I'm going down court, fast break, and I went down and I dunked the ball backwards in front of the whole crowd, so that's, like, my biggest feat."
