LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Mindsweep Entertainment & Promotions) - How many times over the span of many decades have we all heard..."What is this new generation's music coming to?" Well if the incredibly tight, hard driving music and dynamic and precisely executed live performances, and exceptional degree of professionalism of the fast rising career of Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band Eye to I is any indication, the answer to that question is... MAJOR SUCCESS!

I was recently turned on to the music of Eye to I, in my professional quest to find and promote the best of the best, (and most potentially marketable), performers in the music industry today, and after listening to Eye to I's latest CD, "The Mourning After", I knew that I had struck gold!

On Saturday night, May 19th, I also had the extreme pleasure of seeing Eye to I perform live, to a packed house at popular Jacksonville Beach, Florida venue, The Ocean Club on the East Coast leg of their tour to promote this CD.

I was more than impressed with both the quality, content and excellent musicianship on this CD, as Eye to I's CD, "The Mourning After", was totally independently produced and marketed, and in every sense and aspect, as pro quality a CD as one put out by any major label. No kidding! Equally as astounding and impressive is the profound tightness, and riveting execution and pro caliber showmanship of their live performance! Eye to I's performance was dynamic and electrifying to say the least, with each member of this outstanding band being a show amongst themselves!

From that point, and from my interview with band members, I knew that I had not only discovered 'music industry gold', I had hit 'the mother load,' with this band!

Though totally independent in every sense, without being signed (yet), to a major record label, or to a major booking agency, or without the aid of an artist promotion company, Eye to I's rise, success and fan base is taking off with lightening speed, and with their kind of talent and obvious dedication to their music, their (very) live performances, and to entertaining their audiences, I can certainly see why.

Eye to I is:
Monte Valentini - Lead Vocals
Shaun Richards - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals
Bobby Ward - Lead Guitar
Jason Yoder - Bass
Chris Burnett - Drums
(And the band wishes to acknowledge in appreciation members of their crew, Jaysin Woodward and Clay Ward and Henry and Christina Burnett for all of their hard work and dedication.)

Since their CD's debut in December 2006, and having already sold thousands of copies of their CD, the band has steadily been in demand, with over 40 plus dates performed thus far on the East Coast leg of their tour alone, and 11 more dates already lined up from there, and more being booked steadily all the time.

From there, Eye to I will head wherever the music and fans take them, and has seriously considered extending their tour to promote this CD beyond the US, as the band has been enjoying and steadily gaining radio airplay and broadening their fan base throughout England, Germany, Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and elsewhere nationwide and internationally, which is beyond impressive and quite an accomplishment for a band that is totally independent. In fact, while traveling on the road to the Jacksonville Beach, Florida event, the band remarked that they were pleased to hear their single, "Everyone's an Actor" being played on the radio while in route.

Eye to I has enjoyed performing at such events as a Ridgeland, (South Carolina), Abate Motorcycle Club Rally, The Omega Festival in Beaufort, SC, and many great venues of all sizes up and down the East Coast since their tour began. Though their success has been measurable and swift, Eye to I has not lost touch with their roots in beautiful and rural Bluffton, South Carolina, as Eye to I performed at a concert at their local high school to a packed house and an appreciative audience, when Eye to I performed to raise money for the school's prom.

Eye to I has shared the stage or have opened for such well known acts as:
Revalation Theory
Souls Harbor
Porcelain Black
and Element 55

Fans can purchase Eye to I's CD, "The Mourning After" via the band's My Space site, CD Baby, or by visiting the band's official website.

Another indication of Eye to I's already present and future success, Yahoo Launch has decided to feature and add the music from Eye to I's red hot new CD "The Mourning After" to a vast number of various internet radio stations which can be heard worldwide. And while I was attending Eye to I's concert in Jacksonville, Beach, Florida, there were press members from Get Amped Magazine there, also doing a feature on Eye to I, as their "Featured Band" in an upcoming issue. No doubt major success is imminent for this outstanding band, and is not only a fine example of "what the new generation's music coming to", and I prefer to refer to as "cutting edge", as their music has broad marketing appeal to people who know and appreciate great musicianship, and outstanding professional showmanship reaching far beyond the boundaries of generation, as though their music is totally original, their talent has been compared to the likes of such great bands as Metallica, 7 Dust, Korn, Devin Townsend, SYL, Pantera many greats of the early Punk era, Alice in Chains, and so many other legendary performers that has come before them in their genre.

Best regards,
Laura Jenney.
