NEW YORK (Snoop Official Website) - Snoop Dogg is collaborating on a recording with a real gangster, London's Dave Courtney. Courtney wrote 'The Unwritten Rules Of The Courtroom," which will appear on his own album and Snoop's next record. Courtney says the pair will perform the number live sometime in November, joined onstage by Dr. Dre. Snoop and Courtney were introduced two years ago through a mutual friend, recording artist Tricky, at a July 4 event in New York City's Central Park. Courtney now runs a adult entertainment business in Los Angeles and Snoop has used some of the women from the company in his videos. When Courtney was in Las Vegas getting married, he gave Snoop the track to complete. Courtney is a former criminal from London's tough East End who became an infamous celebrity in the U.K. thanks to his gangster past. In the 1998 film, Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, directed by Madonna's husband Guy Ritchie, the character played by actor Vinnie James was based on Courtney. Courtney himself had a small role in another Ritchie crime film, 2000's Snatch. He currently tours Britain with a stand-up comedy show of sorts, An Audience With Dave Courtney.
